Cottingham Parish Council

Elections 6th May 2021

The date of the local elections is 6th May 2021. You will be asked to vote for the Councillor who will represent you in the new North Northants Unitary Authority. We hope that you will also be voting for Parish Councillors.  In the past we have had either just enough or slightly less than the nine Councillors we need which means that current Councillors have been elected automatically without a vote.

We would like that to change.

This is an important time for our village with the new Unitary Authority about to start its life and a Neighbourhood Plan which has been submitted for the first part of an inspection.  Both will play an important part in the life of the village for a number of years.

It matters to your Council that residents play a large part in caring for the village.

Why not consider becoming a Councillor and help to shape your village’s future.

If you want to talk about this the please contact any of the Councillors on the Parish Council or as a first call, talk to anyone shown below.
